I suspect you might be asking the wrong question. The correct question, in my opinion, is "IS the force of gravity greater there?" Or better even, forget about it entirely. There are lots of silly rumors flying around, about this Bermuda triangle, and this may well be one of them. So, did you find any REPUTABLE news site, or scientific publication, that claimed this?Having said that, gravity is indeed stronger at some points on Earth than at others, due to the uneven distribution of masses. The differences - when there are any - can only be detected with specialized instruments, since they are only a fraction of a percent.

in that area is the same as it is on the same object at the same elevation
