mountains are colder than the base they sit on because the warmth from the ground doesn't extend to the top. the lower temp. is also aided by winds that are virtually unimpeded due to the height you are above buildings and trees
Because they are at the north & are tall. As the more norther the more cold .
Colder
20 C is colder.
7 is colder
-75 Fahrenheit is much colder.
i think its colder but i dont know am i right?
-snicker-
Due to higher altitudes temperature decreases, so only we feel colder in mountains than low lands
Because of mountains
Lions live primarily in the savanna, not in mountains.
Because Mountains are alot higher up so they are colder
Because they are higher up in the sky. The taller the mountains are, the colder they get.
Because the higher you get the colder it gets.
this is actually quite logical. mostly because the mountains are near the south more and the mountains create large winds and are way colder through out the actual mountains so it makes the ground colder too. thanks hope this helps folks!
There is more mountains in the West and on mountains it is colder so there is a better chance for snow
No its not. Mountains are very cold. Colder than anything else than i can image. If this does not help then im very sorry after all im only 8 years old
It depends. If the river is in the mountains or near the Poles than it's probably colder but if the ocean is like the arctic ocean or something like that then that's probably colder
There are mountains near the Equator and near the South Pole. Obviously, the peak of a mountain is colder than at the foot.
