Because it transfers (or radiates) heat from coolant or whatever it is cooling.
The part in front of the radiator is usually called the grille or front grille. It serves as a protective cover for the radiator while allowing air to flow through to help cool the engine.
Thermal energy from the furnace is transferred to the radiator through convection. Heated air or water circulates through pipes from the furnace to the radiator, where it releases heat into the room through a process called convection. This heat transfer warms the surrounding air in the room.
The lower radiator hose supplies the water pump. The upper radiator hose supplies the radiator.
The radiator is typically secured onto brackets using mounting hardware such as screws or bolts. The brackets are positioned on the sides of the radiator where they line up with holes in the radiator frame. By attaching the brackets securely to the radiator frame, the radiator is held in place and mounted properly.
To flush a radiator, first make sure the engine is off and cool. Locate the radiator drain plug, usually at the bottom, and use a container to catch the old coolant. Pour radiator flush solution and water into the radiator, run the engine for a few minutes, then drain the radiator by opening the drain plug. Finally, refill the radiator with the recommended coolant and water mixture.

The radiator was invented in St Petersburg in Russia by a man called Franz San Galli. It was invented around 1855.
The radiator cap and filler are part of the upper radiator hose.
that's easy.... you don't... there inst a radiator on a beetle. its called an air cooled engine for a reason.
A radiator
No hose connects from the air intake to the radiator. It may connect to a bracket mounted not the radiator but it does not connect to the coolant. If that is what you are stalking about it is called an air intake tube.
