high oil pressure on a 350 can be caused by a number of things: * bad oil pressure sending unit * a restriction somewhere in the oil circulation system * using an oil with too high of thickness (weight) knowing how old the motor is should narrow this down greatly. if changing the oil in the motor has frequently been deliquent, the cause of high oil pressure may be carbon build-up inside one of the oil ports. if you are lucky, a simple bottle of engine oil flush solution before your next oil change may fix this.
