About 10-20 ft.
On pictochat around 10 metres.
The Nintendo DS and DS lite does not have a friend code system so there is no way to get friends on Pictochat. As long as your friend is within range of your DS console, you can communicate through Pictochat but you cannot save friend codes.
You can pictochat up to 65 feet away from one another. It goes this far on DS, DS Lite, and DSI. Not 3DS. Wich sucks. Ihave a 3DS and cant pictochat, but Can communicate with SWAPNOTE!
You can get pictochat on your ipod.
65 feet for every DS model. . . . Says it right on the Nintendo website.
All versions of the Nintendo DS use wi-fi to connect to other DS's in range. As with most other wi-fi devices, the range is around up to 50 meters, but it can work further depending on interference and if anything is in the way.
pictochat is where if u have a Nintendo ds it can talk to another ds within a certain range. you use the touch screen to write or draw things. it also has info about picto chat in the manual that came with it
Around 65 feet!
PictoChat, a messaging application for the Nintendo DS, allows users to communicate wirelessly within a range of approximately 30 to 100 feet (10 to 30 meters) depending on the environment. The application enables users to send drawings and text messages to others nearby, but it is limited to local communication, meaning it does not support internet connectivity or long-distance messaging.
I had an original ds and a ds lite and both of them had pictochat.
Yes. From every DS, you can access PictoChat from the main menu.
