Alpines, but it depends on how tall the mountains are and where on the mountain one looks. Mountains can have very diverse plant life, some have tropical rain forests that give way to temperate forests and then to sub-alpine meadows and near the top of where the snow melts away in spring - alpines. Those mountains that have year round snow generally lack higher plants were the snow persists most of the year.
