Beowulf doesn't show mercy, in fact he does the exact opposite. When Grendel realizes the battle is lost, he gives up in his head, yet Beowulf continues to finish him off. "Grendel's one thought was to run from Beowulf, flee back to his marsh and hide there..." (line 314 of the translated Beowulf).
Show No Mercy - song - was created in 1990.
Judge, please show him mercy.
God never said that
He brings it up to show that Beowulf isn't high and mighty like he makes himself out to be. Unferth wants to show that Beowulf isn't perfect.
muhhamed the prophet of Islam who said it :)
muhhamed the prophet of islam who said it :)
Because he respects Beowulf and feels the need to show honor and braver to Beowulf who was the king at the time
Why doesn't anyone answer this? Someone must know.
After you've scrubbed all the floors in Hyrule, then we can talk about mercy
To show that he wasn't immortal
Those who show mercy toward others shall receive mercy
