Allegory means "Figurative language," or rather, it's when you describe something in a way it can't be or isn't in reality. Some examples of this would be "The dancing water" or "The proud oak." Oaks cannot be proud, as they are trees with no emotion, and water cannot literally dance, as it has no legs or body. In this phrase, the silver wind is an allegory. Wind is not visible, so it can't have a color :) I hope this helped!
