Lumbo-pelvic rhythm is the relationship between the pelvis and the lumbar spine. When a person attempts to touch their toes (straight legged), the pelvis anteriorly tilts on the femur and the lumbar portion of the spine flexes. This integrated movement is the lumbo-pelvic rhythm.
An appropriate rhythm is a anterior pelvic tilt of 60 degrees, and a lumbar spinal flex of 30 degrees. Tight hamstrings will reduce pelvic motion and increase lumbar flexion.
lumbo
. The prime movers are the core muscles which include the abdominals (rectus abdominus, the transverse abdominus and the internal and external obliques), the lumbo-pelvic-hip area, and the back (erector spinae, quadratus lumborum, paraspinals and the psoas major). Other muscles used in this movement are the glutes and quadriceps.
Back pain is usually confined to lumbo sacral region, buttock or thighs.
The heart is not located in the pelvic cavity. It is located in the thoracic cavity.

A pelvic sling is a supportive device used to stabilize the pelvic region, often in the context of treating pelvic organ prolapse or providing support after pelvic surgery. It typically consists of mesh material that is surgically implanted to lift and support the pelvic organs, helping alleviate symptoms such as urinary incontinence or pelvic pressure. The procedure aims to restore normal function and improve the quality of life for individuals experiencing pelvic floor disorders.
