Whether Henry Kissinger deserved his Nobel Peace Prize is a matter of opinion; there is no way to determine this is a purely objective and factual manner, but my own opinion is that he didn't. He is credited for helping to bring an end to the Vietnam War, but my assessment is that the war would have ended much sooner, had Kissinger and Nixon not been so fanatical about their opposition to communism. In retrospect, the USSR was not the global threat that Kissinger thought it was.
