The main complaints and demands of people in a non-democratic country are the following -:1.) To establish democracy.2.) Elections to be held regularly and people are able to vote without any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, color, gender or background.3.) If people want to change their rulers, they can change it via the means of elections.4.) Equal rights to be granted to the citizens of that country.5.) Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Expression to be granted to them.
Some countries that are republics include the United States, France, Germany, India, and South Africa. These countries have elected officials representing the people and a government structure that is not based on a monarchy.
In a democracy, balancing security measures with protecting civil liberties can be challenging when responding to man-made disasters like terrorism. There is a risk of overreaching with security measures that may infringe upon individual rights. Additionally, ensuring transparency and accountability in responding to such disasters while maintaining public trust is crucial but can be difficult.
Zimbabwe is considered non-democratic due to a history of human rights abuses, electoral fraud, and suppression of political opposition. The ruling party has maintained power through intimidation and violence, limiting freedom of speech and assembly. Democratic principles such as free and fair elections, independent judiciary, and respect for human rights have often been undermined in Zimbabwe.
Non-alignment countries face challenges such as pressure to align with major powers, difficulties in navigating complex international relations, and limited influence in shaping global policies. They may also struggle to assert their interests and maintain independence in a world dominated by powerful alliances and conflicts.
