We like to think our corruption isn't too bad but trying to address it does show why is is as bad as it is. Our system lacks accountability and transparency. Even when we know there is corruption we are unable to address it.
A good example was our Long Gun Registry. This was a data base with approximately 8 million entries, or long guns. The information for the data base was required by law to be supplied by the owners of the long guns and kept updated by those owners. Just about the easiest way to build a data base. If I contracted someone to build a similar data base it would cost maybe $2 million and that was the original estimate. Even with cost over runs $10 Million would be high.
It cost us Billions of dollars. We know it is impossible to spend that kind of money on such a program without corruption, theft and fraud yet all we get is assurances that all the money is "accounted" for and we got good value for our money.
Corruption can only exist when there is no accountability and a lack of transparency. Systems that do not require the government to account for the money it is spending and let people see where the money, right down to the dollar, is going are going to be corrupt.
It is not accurate to say that the government in Canada is inherently corrupt. Like any country, Canada may face instances of corruption, but it has institutions in place to address and prevent corruption. Canada has a strong rule of law, an independent judiciary, and various oversight mechanisms to promote transparency and accountability in the government.
Corruption in the Brazilian government can be attributed to a combination of factors such as a history of political instability, weak institutions, lack of transparency, and a culture of impunity. These factors have allowed corruption to persist at various levels of government, leading to scandals and mismanagement of public resources.
The answer to this question really depends on what government you are aiming it at. In the case of some of the African governments, yes, they are as corrupt as a very corrupt thing, but other countries like America, France, Germany. These are all safe. :)
Vermont is often considered one of the least corrupt states in the United States. It consistently ranks low on corruption perception indexes and has a reputation for transparency and accountability in government.
It is very difficult to get a corrupt judge thrown off the bench.Nobody believed the police captain's claim that he had no knowledge of any corrupt officers in his precinct. We had to throw the old fridge away, as the stench of rotten meat inside would corrupt any food we tried to keep in there. The corrupt official accepted many bribes.the government was very corruptpolitics are very corruptheads of states change from good to badprime ministers are corruptThe whole Senate committee was too corrupt to figure out what they were doing.
A right form of government follows the rule of law, protects the rights of its citizens, and promotes the common good. A corrupt form of government is characterized by bribery, dishonesty, abuse of power, and lack of accountability, leading to oppression and inequality among its people.
The government is... (Corrupt, good at their job, etc.)I (Love, hate, dislike, etc...) this government. This government is...(Corrupt, good at their job, etc.)Are the government...(And so on)

Canada Feigns a Representative Democratic Government very well but due to no intrenched method of removal of corrupt officials and overwhelming apathy of the Canadian people. It is more pragmatic to call Canada a Machiavellian dream state that poses as Democratic. The legal system is a merger of French and English laws and so it is overtly complex, costly, tedious and vastly ineffective from the top all the way down, also there is no way to get rid of corruption from the top to the bottom.
yes
corrupt
No. I looked this up and from what I read the government is so corrupt that they haven't put a store there.

Corrupt government is the main reason. Islamo-Arab imperialism is the driving ideology behind such corrupt government.
Not exactly. District 12 is the poorest district and the citizens do desperate things to stay alive. So it's not they who are corrupt. If anyone's corrupt in The Hunger Games series, it's the Capitol
Because Canada is less corrupt than Mexico.
