Here in the united states we take pride in our founding father and the things that they did and accomplished in order for this country to become what it has. And as proud Americans we have build monuments to honor those that are no longer with us. With the light research that I have done I have counted 21 monuments honoring our past presidents.
Memorials to presidents Lincoln, Washington, and Jefferson are the three memorials. There is also a fourth memorial for Franklin Roosevelt.
While many U.S. Presidents are honored with memorials in Washington D.C., President Jimmy Carter does not have a dedicated memorial in the city. Although he served from 1977 to 1981 and is respected for his humanitarian efforts post-presidency, no specific monument or memorial commemorates him in the nation's capital. Other presidents, such as Lincoln, Jefferson, and Washington, have prominent memorials.

War Memorials, monuments to past presidents, and many others. But you need to go see them all to get what they really symbolize, a free country and a free nation of people.

Many memorials have the words' Lest We Forget' inscribed on them.
People don't generally worship at war memorials. The memorials are used as a focus for remembering the dead and the horrors of war. The number of people who attend memorials varies greatly from country to country and memorial to memorial. It is impossible to put a figure on the number of people.
