In 2008, Barack Obama was in favor of equal rights for gay people, but when it came to marriage, he still only supported civil unions. As he has noted in interviews, his position gradually changed: over the next several years, encouraged by some of his supporters as well as by his daughters and wife, he "evolved" (as he put it) to a position of agreement that gay people deserved full equality, including the right to marry.
McCain wanted same-sex marriage to be left up to the states with no federal recognition. Obama opposed same-sex marriage on "religious grounds." Obama otherwise favored gay rights and McCain wanted no change in gay rights on the federal level.
Barack Obama's position on same-sex marriage changed from 2008 presidential campaign to supporting it in the last elections.
I don't think you can. You either has to be single or married to adopt. Just living together is neither. if you are in a samesex relationship and has gone through partnership might be possible though.
Anyone can do anything they want to as long as they truly want it. No, in Islam having a boyfriend/girlfriend type of relationship is not allowed whether your a male or a female and whether the bf/gf is Muslim or not. If you have anymore questions regarding the matter, just ask and I'll be happy to answer them. i gree in islam having a boyfrnd or a grlfrnd is not allowd but today no youngr generation follows it .....so if a muslim girl personlly like a non muslim boy...then it is not allowd in islam.....u cannot marry him unless he accpts islam...:)
