MAIN ANSWER:
There is no proof that violence in Video Games and movies makes children and teens behave violently. However, watching violent scenes does seem to desensitize them to such violence. This means that they see so many violent scenes on the TV, movie screens, and video games that they are no longer shocked by them. This includes the stuff they splash across the screens during the daily news report. People are no longer horrified by bloodshed and mayhem, because they saw something much worse on the TV just yesterday.
SUPPORTING INFO:
Major studies have been done recently on this subject by reputable sources, namely The Harvard Medical School Center for Mental Health, The Journal of Adolescent Health, and The British Medical Journal, which have shown no conclusive link between video game usage and violent activity.
No. It is the parents who allow their kids to act bad who make their children violent.
You have a liking to aggression, and possibly get an adrenaline rush from seeing or engaging in it. It doesn't necessarily make you a bad person, as there is violence in even sports, but letting your love for violence get out of hand can lead you to do bad things and become a bad person.
Teens with high levels of self-esteem are confident and self-assured, so when they face a tough decision such as whether to use illegal drugs, this self-assurance allows them to make decisions independently. Teens with low self-esteem are not confident and often doubt themselves and their decision making. When teens with low self-esteem need to make tough decisions, they will look to outside influence to guide, suggest, or validate their decisions.
Passive aggressive behavior--very destructive.
Because they believe that drugs make them happy. But it's a false happiness and a false escape, because when they're done being high or drunk, they're right back to their problems plus more. Some teens give in because simply that they think they're cool. But parents gotta teach that it's really not.
well i dont think there is much emos like back then, but some teens like to dress up like them. its a new look and stuff PS. this one girl had make up like a emo
im am 14 and a videogamer. this does not make me angerier or more hostile. i was introduced to gaming not too long ago and i am not more violent. if you are an adult inquiring about your children you might want to talk to them and get to know them better. violence is not the only thing that may cause problems in a child. they need to know their parents and you need to know you kid. it is good to build trust with them.
Well it is to make the game fun and exciting because if there was a game with no violence it wouldnt be really fun. But that does not mean you use violence off of video games though!=~Yoshirules~=
Win the CD at the bingo game. Then take it to the store and put it on the radio. Play and that should make the teens go away
Reeling pickled means in a state of inebriation that make the individual aggressive and prone to violence. Pony uses this term to refer to the Socs in the outsiders.
Not a lot of violence which will make you go "eeww" but still some parts where you might feel a tiny bit queasy.
Not really. It's not really the kind of game you can remove the violence from, it's a game where enemies have to be killed, so you can progress.

No, teens can not have children in the sims 3.
Teens cannot get pregnant unless you make the adults shorter with a cheat to make them look like teens but even then they are still adults.
Violence begets more violence.
One choice teens can make is that to not have sex when they aren't married, and then when they get pregnant, have abortion!
