im am 14 and a videogamer. this does not make me angerier or more hostile. i was introduced to gaming not too long ago and i am not more violent. if you are an adult inquiring about your children you might want to talk to them and get to know them better. violence is not the only thing that may cause problems in a child. they need to know their parents and you need to know you kid. it is good to build trust with them.
Violence in video games
Video games do affect your behavior. One source states that "While research on video games and aggressive behavior must be considered preliminary, it may be reasonably inferred from the more than 1,000 reports and studies on television violence that video game violence may also contribute to aggressive behavior and desensitization to violence" (1). Another study reports that "Hostility was increased both in subjects playing a highly aggressive video game and those playing a mildly aggressive video game. Subjects who had played the high-aggression game were significantly more anxious than other subjects" (2). They help heal cancer because it helps the brain cell. {3} This can be found at: http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/exchange/node/1742

Well it is to make the game fun and exciting because if there was a game with no violence it wouldnt be really fun. But that does not mean you use violence off of video games though!=~Yoshirules~=
it doesnt
The game is rated 16+ for it's high violence and lots of bloodshed, so i wouldn't recommend it to pre-teens.
MAIN ANSWER:There is no proof that violence in video games and movies makes children and teens behave violently. However, watching violent scenes does seem to desensitize them to such violence. This means that they see so many violent scenes on the TV, movie screens, and video games that they are no longer shocked by them. This includes the stuff they splash across the screens during the daily news report. People are no longer horrified by bloodshed and mayhem, because they saw something much worse on the TV just yesterday.SUPPORTING INFO:Major studies have been done recently on this subject by reputable sources, namely The Harvard Medical School Center for Mental Health, The Journal of Adolescent Health, and The British Medical Journal, which have shown no conclusive link between video game usage and violent activity.
It's only a video game, although studies have shown the increase in violence among teens who watch or play violent video games, and it's ultimately up to your parents I suppose.
Some people say that it influences teens and kids to become violent but i feel that if you are mature enough to decide what will influence you then i dont think its a problem. Plus they're fun.
Not at all.
