Answer
To help a shopaholic, you have to get them to stop shopping. Well, at least stop shopping EVERY DAY, or as much as they do now. You have to pull them away from the store windows, take away their credit cards, or just make them realize THAT WHAT THEY ARE DOING KINDA STUPID BECAUSE SHOPPING ALL THE TIME IS NOT THE ANSWER. Usually when someone shops a lot, it's because they are going through a hard time in their life, so you could talk to them about that hard time, and then maybe that will cure them of their desire to shop all the time!
Answer
A person is a 'shopaholic' because they have unresolved psychological issues that they are not dealing with. The only 'help' you can provide, is to encourage them to seek professional help before they find themselves in financial disaster. Lecturing and confrontation will not get the message across. Only recognition that this is an illness that requires professional help is the message you can convey. Unfortunately, only the person with the problem can take the steps to resolve it.
A person who buys a lot of things is often described as a shopaholic.
People can start to overcome an aversion to unwanted help by accepting, and even asking for, a little bit of help with small things. Then, over time, increasing the amount of help they accept. They can remain in charge of the situation or project they receive help on so they will feel they are doing most of it themselves. Over time this can help the person to realize that help is not bad and they can still do things and be in control even with help.

You can make a list of potential topics, keywords, or phrases related to your interests or assignment to help trigger ideas. Freewriting, where you write continuously without worrying about grammar or structure, can also help spark inspiration for a topic.
You cannot, it is a human trait, humans like to help even if not asked for it. Or, if it is you parents or friends you are talking about, ask them to stop helping and the reason why you don't want them to.
Coping strategies help individuals deal with overwhelming emotions, stress, difficult situations, and challenges in life. They can provide a sense of control, reduce anxiety and help manage feelings of frustration or sadness.
