Four years of college! Seriously. Wether it's community college or Ivy League. $20,000-$50,000. Could be more. Could be less depending on how much higher education is in you area.

Can you become addicted to fun?

We suspect that most people who are excessively fun-oriented (with the exception of those who engage in extreme sports for the adrenaline and/or endorphin high) do so as a result of emotional problems, rather than addiction. Fun can be mood-altering, but much depends on how one defines addiction. The most accepted definitions involve engaging in activities that cause trouble in daily life, but continuing to do them despite the consequences. There are also the issues of compulsion and withdrawal. However, one must also consider the definition of "fun." If it always involved drinking or drugs, there could certainly be an addiction component. We would add that there is nothing wrong with fun. It is one of the things that make life worth living. If, however, it has reached the point of making life more difficult instead of making ie happier and more carefree, there is certainly something to be looked at, no matter what we call it.

Can you get addicted to cutting?

yes, it can be addictive. Take it from an actual cutting addict. Being addicted to cutting yourself can be just as much as an addiction to smoking and drugs. Drugs release chemicals which make the body feel "good" when you cut, the body will release these endorphins which soothe the body and give you a feeling of euphoria and people become addicted to the feeling.

Addiction in the US?

Addiction for people that have never gone through just can't understand what it is like, thats no offence to anyone! People that haven't gone through it sometimes think that it's easy, if you really want to then "just go get help" "ring a help line" "see your doctor" and it's no where near as simple as that! No drug addict, gambler or alcoholic etc enjoy being addicted, nor saw it as there future calling and life plan or look forward to satisfying there addiction everyday. You ask any addict and they will all say the same "It's ruined my life" so if it was that simple to 'just get help and to take that step' there would be no addicts! I see addiction as a behavioural and mental health problem brought on from either depression, anxiety, stress, getting struck by a bomb at some point in your life and was struggling to cope and needed a release! In all my experience I don't see "pear pressure" or being around it or a ladder where you start smoking a bit of weed as the main causes and I think believing this is the reason why the majority of addicts relapse and find it hard to step forward and get help then stick with it! You can not treat the symptoms without treating the cause! I'm a canine behaviourist and if I didn't get o the route of the problem then the symptoms in a dogs case thats bad and unwanted behaviour, could no be resolved and corrected! It's no different with addiction there's always a cause and thats the underline issue of the symptoms which hear is using drugs/ drinking etc. The whole way addicts/ addiction is currently dealt with needs squashing and a whole new fresh look and the way we treat it needs to be taken!

What can you be addicted too?

There are hundreds things people get addicted to. The obvious once are drugs, Alcohol, smoking. But those that some people see them as addicted and some don't are VIDEO GAMES.INTERNET VIDEO games can be very addicted. And if the student is addicted to video game, he'll stress a lot more, he won't get along with his or her friends, family, teachers.I can't list all the things. But it's easy to see when a person is addicted to something. IF you notice that the person can't stop on something, it could be video game or something else, than it means that he or she is addicted. Also many people get addicted to a different things. But if you see that the person spends too much time on something, then he or she is probably addicted. You can't get addicted to GOOD THING though. That is because they are good things.( You can get addicted to reading ) It's very good to read , but when you spent all time reading and everyday without doing any exercise or going outside or communicate with someone, it can be a bad thing. You'll basically live in your own world without noticing other people. And that's not good.
