- don't like "outside dirt" inside the home. So they don't remove their outside shoes and use slippers inside the household
-like "rose gardens and orchids" ,"oriental" furniture, with the "plastic" covers, and "plastic rug runners".
-eat with their "hands".
-tend to work in accounting, as physicians or nurses, or electrical engineering. Filipino parents tend to push "math and science" majors in college.

Filipinos think of Americans as fat and happy people, obese people, no culture people, showoffs who thinks their rich with lots of cars and lots of money, and just loves to eat inside fast food restaurants. They have no discipline, too liberated, too much of this freedom of speech rule which causes parent's offspring to grow up with no respect, and allowed to talk back to parents which results in rebellion. Most Filipinos even think that Americans are (swingers) who doesn't last long in relationship due to liberated sex with multiple partners and high numbers of divorces out of all countries worldwide.
That they know Spanish and that they work in hospital custodial positions are stereotypes of Filipinos. In reality, many Filipinos do not rely upon Spanish other than as a research language regarding their archipelago's history while many others indeed may work in hospitals, but as doctors and nurses.
