ok so one day i was online trying to find out if kids work better in groups or not for school and i found nothing so i switched to this topic. and ive seen good answers but most are just hitting the nail with another nail. so im gonna be smart and hit it with a hammer. ok first of all as kids get older they take on more responsibility like clubs, or sports, or any special activities. like me. so with these responiblities you run out of time for work and the amount and hardness of work increases. so this is why some people get mad and say school means "seven crapy hours of our lives." well if there was study hall (or more) we would have this trouble. i hope this helped you as much as me... im gonna use this in my papper because i wrote it so its not playderisum. but you cant copy it but you can if your going to post it some where else... Online. ok sorry this si the same person but the same account please acess me thru this acount "klunkrocks"
The benefits of having a study hall are you have more time to get your homework done. If you didnt feel like doing it the night before. You can always do it in study hall and get help from the teachers.

Everything is definitely not a good answer. Study hall is a good place to be encouraged to work and not be distracted by TVs and games. Anyway, back to your question. Probably the worst part about study hall is that some students probably find it easier to "hit the books" in comfort and they may not do as well in a school-like environment. Also, if a student has almost nothing to do, they may waste time when they could be doing something else.
