A bigger role for the people running government.

Liberals generally embrace change as a means of progress and improvement, believing in adapting to new ideas and evolving social norms. They often advocate for change in areas like social policies, environmental protections, and civil rights to create a more equitable and inclusive society. Change is seen as essential for addressing societal challenges and promoting a more just and sustainable future.
Policies associated with progressive liberalism typically focus on social equality, government intervention to address economic inequality, support for civil rights and civil liberties, environmental protection, and healthcare reform. Progressive liberals generally advocate for progressive taxation, social welfare programs, and policies that promote diversity and inclusivity.
Factors affecting socioeconomic change include technological advancements, shifts in global markets, government policies, and changes in demographics. These changes can impact one's career by creating new job opportunities in emerging industries or rendering certain skills obsolete. Individuals need to adapt by acquiring new skills, staying updated on industry trends, and being flexible in their career choices to navigate the evolving socioeconomic landscape.
A person who makes up their mind and then changes it can be called indecisive or fickle.

Reducing the size of government is not a goal of European liberals. Most European liberals want the entire population to rely on the government.
n contrast to liberals, conservatives want to keep government limited except in the area of marriage. They wish for the government to define marriage as between one man and one woman.
because they are two opposing views, the Conservatives want a small government with private companies to do more for the economy and the Liberals want a larger government with more of a mixture of government and private companies in the economy. (I am thinking in UK politics)
Conservatives wanted the government to be traditional, one ruler. Liberals wanted the opposite - a new style of government. They want to dictate everything themselves.
Want the government to stay out of peoples personal lives. They want moral, religious, and cultural freedom. They don't want the government to tell they what to do.
The Liberals
Liberals want more government in people's lives. All Conservatives want more government control is in the media. And we don't want much, we just want them to stop selling booty shorts to 10 year old girls. And a little more censorship on TV. And I'm pretty sure if we replace perverted Victoria's secret commercials with cancer donation ones, it make a big difference in medical science. Plus, do want to talk about sex with your 6 year old?
