What do the color lines mean in your essay?

There are several editing marks that mean different things that your teacher may have written on your paper. For instance a curved line that joins two letters both above and below the letters usually means that there shouldn't be a space there. A little "v" type mark usually means you need to add something in between where the point of the V is. A line that crosses things out and has a squiggle on the end usually means "remove this."
