What do you do in a psycho hospital?

As a patient? A private session usually 3 times a week with your primary care psychologist. A private session once a week with the supervising (or house) psychaitrist. (Kiss his butt, "cause he's the guy who can write you the really good psyco-tropic med scripts.) A meeting with a medical doctor twice a week or as needed. (Kiss his butt, too, as he can get you really good sleeping meds.) Group therapy, usually twice a day, one session led by a doctor and one by the charge nurse. Occupational therapy, usually making rag rugs with blunt scissors, finger painting, making sex organs with modeling clay, or drawing disturbing sexually explicit pictures of certain members of the staff. Watch a lot of tv in the day room, no tv's allowed in patient rooms. Watching other patients fight or pee on the floor and the rush of nurse's aids to either break up the fight or clean the floor. (Be really nice to the nurse aids as they are more likely to smuggle things in for you and out, especially letters you don't want the nurse's or hospital shrinks to read.) Looking out the windows and giving the finger to people passing by on the street or exposing yourself to them. However, if you choose to show them your wiener you should know this will get you put in the seclusion room if some one complains. Taking your meds, stealing meds from co-patients, trying to avoid the estrogen based meds that keep you from getting an erection. Trying to see female co-patients naked. Repeatedly asking the same pointless question just to annoy the staff. Over cooked chicken cutlet Sandwiches for lunch, gummy cold scrambled eggs for breakfast, cold salisbury steak or cold turkey for dinner. Green jello served throught the day. Shower every other day, even if your tub room privelidges are suspended. Wondering why your family never visits, even tho they live in the same city.
