A physiological factor is a level of arousal which goes to show readiness to engage in some sort of activity.

an example i could throw off the top of my mind would be.. An obese person for ex. Obese people tend not to know the difference between emotional factors, and physiological factors, which causes extreme weight issues for them. This is because when the sight of food is presented they feel they need to eat, but its not a physiological need, its an emotional one - usually.
