This really depends on the guinea pig. If you spend a lot of time handling it it will be a tame guinea pig and will be happy to sit on your lap and let you play with it. But if you leave it and never hold it or sit with it, then it will not be friendly and will run away and hide. I suggest spending a lot of time with it while its young and it will grow up to be a nice, placid guinea pig.

Maybe. Most likely. So, it is best to get two guinea pigs from the same pet shop. But my guinea pig is a little self-centered. That doesn't mean your piggy has this personality too. Well... this is a tough question because it really depends on the cat and guinea pigs personality. Personally I keep my cat as far away from my guinea pigs as possible because I don't trust my cat. If there is no way your cat could get into their cage or stick its paw in the side it would be okay.... But no I don't think that I would put your cat near them. I know of some people that have cats and guinea pigs which are best friends but No you shouldn't.
