Why do teens give into peer pressure?

There are many reason. It could be because they think it is cool. They think, "Oh cool, everybody else is doing it maybe I should try." Perhaps they are stuck in a situation where it is either do the drug or whatever or get beat up. Some of it goes back to their upbringing. If they have strict discipline and are taught not to give in nor care what others think, they tend to be more able to resist. But even then, it is still possible to fall. You cannot develop inner strength just from lectures. Personal experience and mistakes are often required.

Why do all teens have to be in a stereotype?

Many teens follow stereotypes to fit in with a certain group of people. It's an easy way of getting along in life for teens especially in high school, secondary school, ect. There are tonnes of stereotypes and cliques and everyone is bound to fall into one at some point. Sometimes, if you don't go in a clique, it's very difficult to get by because you'll always get picked on and be alone and have no one to turn to. So, it's up to you whether you want to be or not. Hope this helped :)
