No. Although this is a popular superstition, it has no basis in reality. There is no magical broadcasting or transmitting system that connects anyone's thoughts with the dreams of others. An obvious example: countless teenaged girls dream about celebrities such as Justin Bieber or in other generations, Elvis Presley or Frank Sinatra. But the celebrity certainly has not been thinking about each individual girl.
Dreams are the subconscious concepts embed in the human psyche that is recalled as images or concepts and actions for suppressed emotions/desires in the subconscious mind. However recent studies have revealed the human ability to connect in empathy with others.
Although this is a very popular superstition, it has no basis in fact. Human beings cannot communicate over distances without a device such as a telephone or radio. Both thoughts and dreams exist only in the mind of the individual and are not broadcast to the mind of any one else.
Your dreams are not connected to another person's dreams or thoughts. The exception would be if you are telepathic, which is unlikely as no evidence has been produced in spite of extensive research.
Dreams do not have a direct correlation with someone else's thoughts or actions while they are awake. Dream content is often influenced by our own thoughts, feelings, and experiences, rather than serving as a reflection of someone else's thoughts or behaviors.
There is no scientific evidence to suggest that people dream after they die. Dreaming is a function of the brain, and once a person dies, brain activity ceases.
I assume that you mean dream figures who are not real people that you've ever met in waking life (as opposed to people you've seen in real life, but you are not acquainted with them). Many people ask this question, showing that it's very common to dream about dream figures that we don't know. These characters in our dreams tend to symbolize certain personality traits, or qualities of our own that we are unconscious of; or else they are archetypes (such as the "eternal boy," the wise old woman, or the divine child). By contrast, dreaming about people we know tends to have more to do with that particular person and our relationship with them, or with the role that that person plays in life and therefore symbolizes (mother, father, teacher, police officer, etc.). Sometimes, after reflecting on the dream for a while, we may find that the unknown character actually reminds us of someone we know, or is maybe a composite of two or more known people. Often people wonder if the unknown dream figure could be someone they will meet in the future (and thus the dream is precognitive). That's always possible, but obviously we can't know until it happens later that we meet them in real life. I can remember only one instance of apparently dreaming about someone whom I later met. It has also been speculated by believers in reincarnation that the unknown figure could be someone known in a past or future life. Again, this can't be proved, though it's an intriguing idea, stimulating the imagination. Because of the uncertainties involved, it's best to interpret an unknown dream character symbolically or as an unconscious or shadow quality of the dreamer him- or herself.
Based on my personal information i have had dreams like that and had to search some of it online because i though i was going crazy but actually it is something called lucid dreaming were the person exactly know there dream and it can be master at a point were you can actually dream to what ever you want!! :D
The subconscious mind, which produces dreams, is perfectly capable of creating fully detailed, distinct imaginary characters in dreams. The image could be based on the appearance of a real person seen in the media or glimpsed momentarily in passing. In this case, it is possible that one might encounter the real person. But there is no guarantee that the actual person would have the qualities of the dream figure.
Not necessarily. Your dreams are normally a manifestation of what you has been on your mind. If that someone hasn't been thinking of you, s/he will not dream of you even if you dream of them.
when you dream about someone, they fell asleep thinking about you. they dont always think about what you dream about though.
One need not think about a person while awake in order for that person to appear in a dream. The dreamer's subconscious mind might associate that individual with a particular memory or experience from the preceding day. That individual might symbolize someone or something else in the dream - there are countless possibilities. However, seeing someone in a dream does NOT mean that person was thinking of the dreamer.
Dreams do not foretell the future. When you dream about a specific person, it usually means that you have been thinking about that person, or that you wish you could meet them.
This dream only means that the person interests you. Your mind might be using the image of this person to represent something in your dream, such as an attractive, exciting person, or, contrarily, a scary, threatening person. In any case, your dream does not mean that the person was thinking or dreaming about you.
whenever you dream about something, its what you r thinking about at that very time. so if you r dreaming about someone u dont no, then its just like seeing, or thinking about someone you dont no. either way, theres nothing to worry about.
it could be that you were thinking of her before you fell asleep because if someone is on your mind before you fall asleep sometimes you dream them. but the real question is how do you feel toward your friend's ex? again if you are constantly thinking about someone or something you may dream her/him or it. if you were not thinking about this person at all then maybe it was just one of those weird dreams. not to worry everyone has strange dreams they don't understand.
There is no particular significance to this dream. It does NOT mean that the person was thinking or dreaming of you. The image of this person could represent someone else in your dream, or it might even symbolize some part of your own life.
There is no special significance to such dreams. Dreaming of someone and talking to them in the dream does NOT mean that person is or was thinking of you, and it does not determine your own feelings about that person. People and objects in dreams are symbols, representing something other than what they seem to be. The "someone" is this dream might represent an aspect of yourself, or a problem you need to solve in real life.
Usually if you dream about a guy or girl, you were thinking about them before you went to sleep. Most people dream about someone they like, but others don't remember their dreams because it wasn't out of the ordinary, but when you do remember, it's something that was suprising.
a dream is when the mind has a problem that it wants to figure out and if you like someone they are often in your dreams because you either want to figure out if they like you, or if you are already going out then you are thinking about them a lot and that can make them in your dream. hope this helps!!
love Dreams reflect the dreamer's own thoughts and feelings. This dream provides no reliable information about the other person's emotions or thinking.
