Why does everybody hate hippies?

To be honest, its all opinion. They hate hippies since they're different and nice, they're what we should be,what all people should be.So maybe everyone gets jealous, they get angry that they cannot hurt or harm them with words (maybe fight) but I don't think everyone hates hippies, I mean, Hate is such a strong word I myself am amazed by hippies' ways of communicating and acting.I love hippies! So if that answers your question I will feel all warm and happy inside if not then sorry, but i tried. Sincerely, I wish I was a hippie Carly

Does hate last forever?

No - strong emotions like hate usually die away after awhile unless you keep dwelling on them. The best way to get over strong dislike is to either avoid the other person or to try to see things from their side. If you understand why they do the things they do, you won't hate them so much.
