A hypnotist can guide you into a relaxed state where your focus shifts inward. They can then suggest changes in thoughts, feelings, or behaviors to help you achieve specific goals or address issues. Hypnosis is typically a collaborative process where the hypnotist works with you to reach the desired outcomes.
"Sync hypnotic" does not have a widely recognized or standardized meaning. It could potentially refer to a synchronization technique used in hypnosis, where the hypnotist and the individual being hypnotized are in sync or in harmony during the hypnotic process. However, it's important to note that this term may vary in interpretation depending on the context in which it is used.
Well, it depends upon what kind of hypnotism is used. Western or Eastern. If it is Western, then you're in full control even if you're being hypnotised! But, if you're hypnotised using the Eastern (Indian) method, then you're in full control of the hypnotist!
The person being evaluated is commonly referred to as the "evaluatee" or the "subject."

Being hypnotized has a lot to do with "imagining things"! Hypnosisis an enhanced imaginative state during which critical and analytical faculties are suspended -the person being hypnotized allows him/ herself to be guided into a very relaxed, but hyperattentive state, wherethought is entirely focused on the hypnotist's suggestions. People with active imaginations who enjoy role play, fantasy etc, who are willing to follow instructions uncritically, are invariably the best responders to hypnosis. People whofollow a hypnotist's instructions while "imagining" whatever is suggested to them, are hypnotized.
The answer seems to be "a little from column A, a little from column B." There is a scientific basis for hypnosis. However, some of the more outrageous stunts in a "hypnosis show" seem to be at least partly a result of the "hypnotized" person enjoying the fact that they are the center of attention and thus at least to some degree "going along with" the hypnotist, rather than literally being under his control.
Hypnophobia is the name of the phobia relating to the fear of being hypnotized or in a sleep
I have personally been hypnotized by a professional hypnotist. She told me anyone can be hypnotized and she has never failed to be able to hypnotize someone. You cannot do so against someone's will, nor can you make someone who is under hypnosis do anything against his or her will. When you are hypnotized you are aware of what is being said to you at the time. This a cooperative process between the hypnotist and the patient.Putting yourself into a trance is different and one would have to learn to do so. Again having professional help makes it much easier. .Answer A person doesn't go into a hypnotic trance without a lot of practice and many people don't succumb to being hypnotized no matter what you see on TV or at a theater.
Memories recovered by hypnosis can be accurate or false. To get them accurate, a hypnotized person should realize a sleepwalking state of hypnosis with following age regression. When age regression is achieved and stable, special tests are being applied to make sure that recovering memories are accurate. This procedure can be performed only by a highly qualified hypnotist.

Yes - anyone who is deeply absorbed in reading a story IS hypnotized! At its most basic, being "hypnotized" is simply being in a mental state where your concentration is highly focused on something (eg reading, watching a movie, listening to music, undertaking a task requiring intense concentration etc) to the exclusion of all else. So, someone who is "lost in a book", or "daydreaming", or fascinated by someone/ something, is in a state of hypnosis. When about to fall asleep, you are hypnotized - you can not go to sleep without being in this state.
All hypnosis is self hypnosis. So, so long as you have a way with words, and are able to manipulate people into believing what you're saying is true, they you will be successful at hypnotism. Basically what it boils down to is that if the person being hypnotized doesn't believe they can be hypnotized, they WILL NOT be hypnotized. Hypnosis does not tap deeper into you subconscious, or any of that BS, it's just really good sales men telling you "YOU CAN DO IT!"
His family stopped him with their powers.
I would best describe it as soldiers being hypnotized to fight their own buddies.
No, whether or not you can be hypnotized depends on your strong will. If you resist hypnosis, you probably can fight it off. Also, it is unlikely to impossible to be hypnotized if you are confident and trust yourself. Extremely defiant people should be able to fight it off, too. But if and only if you submit can you be hypnotized.
Most professionals would agree that one being hypnotized would not be able to commit an act they did not wish to commit if they were not under hypnosis. So while the possibility exists, it is not likely.
