They might be just bored. But usually it's because they want to deepen their faith or they are seeking emotional or physical healing. At least one religion requires at least one pilgrimage in a person's lifetime.

People go on pilgrimages for spiritual reasons such as seeking moral or religious significance, to deepen their faith, to seek solace, healing, or clarity, or as an act of devotion and commitment to their beliefs. Pilgrimages can also provide a sense of community and connection with others who share similar beliefs and values.

• Some are seeking inspiration. • Some desire a new perspective, a change of mind. • Some are studying various spiritual paths (and foot paths!) • Some are seeking ways to reverse the destruction of life on the planet. • Some are learning methods of meditation. • Some are deeply questioning their life's purpose. • Some are committed to the idea and practice of pilgrimage. • Some are purifying their hearts; confusion giving way to clarity. • Some don't know why they are making a pilgrimage, but are following their feelings and intuition. • Some want the time and setting to concentrate on a particular subject. • Some are doing penance. • Some are helpers, cooks, drivers, etc., or are accompanying another on her/his pilgrimage. • Some want to be in harmony with the natural world. • Some want the exercise of walking on the hills. • Some are curious or wish to observe. • Some need to get away for a day. • Some are spiritual adventurers, or just like to be on the road. • Some want to calm their minds and find peace. • Some are singers and writers looking for something to sing or write about. • Some are following the "Good Beer Guide!"

If some one wants someone to go away what do you do?

If someone wants someone to go away, the best course of action would be to politely excuse the individual or suggest they leave the premises. Maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor is important in such situations to avoid any potential escalation. If necessary, seek assistance from authorities or security personnel.

Is stocky a personality?

Yes, stocky is a personality. Calling someone stocky basically means that you think they have a "big" personality. Usually someone who is really social and has perhaps a very distinct type of personality could be called stocky. Go ahead and make someone's day and tell them that you think they're very stocky. If you did it to me i would appreciate it.

What does a girl do when someone asks her if she wants to go swimming?

Depending on whether or not she wants to go swimming, shell make a decision. If she is self-concious or feels comfortable in a swim suit will also make a difference. It will also depend on the person who is asking. If it is a good friend or someone she trusts, she will be more likely to go than if it is someone, particularly a guy, who she does not know, or, even worse, one who has a 'bad reputation'. Hoped this helped (:
