Bus service that runs from the airport to Grand Central, Penn Station or Port Authority (app. $15) Otherwise take the subway... it's like 3 transfers. Take the Air Train to the A train at Howard Beach. Ride it down to 42nd street. Transfer to the S Shuttle to Grand Central. Not the easiest -- but certainly cheaper than a taxi (app. $7)
