In a word, no. Ironically, Scranton has not had rail service in about 40 years despite its Electric City and Steamtown railroad history! The New Jersey Transit proposal to restore passenger rail service between Scranton, PA and New York City via the Lackawanna Cut-Off was approved by the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) in 2008. If this track is ever restored in the next decade or so, you could go from Philadelphia to Scranton via New Jersey.

The usual airport limo and bus services connect Princeton with the three major New York area airports (Newark, Kennedy, and LaGuardia) and with the Philadelphia Airport.
