There is a great variation in how web pages are cited, but generally, you start with the author, the year that the web page was written (if this is not available, just use n.d. for "no date"), the web page title (underlined or italicized), the date it was downloaded or viewed, and the URL. Also, it is best to break up long URLs between several lines. See the examples below:

Stewart, Michael. (2005). The Immortals. Retrieved September 6, 2009, from http://name of website.html.

Jameson, Steven. (n.d.). The Greek Concepts of Eros, Philia, and Agape. Retrieved September

12, 2009, from http://name of website.

I don't think the above answer is for APA guidelines or it may be the older version of APA. I'm a psych student and that is not what the newer version APA style books teach.

Under APA guidelines, an online journal article is referenced in the same way as an article in a published journal, but you add the doi or a retrieval statement at the end.

For example:

Robbins, S. B., Oh, I. S., Le, H., & Button, C. (2009). Intervention effects on college performance and retention as mediated by motivational, emotional, and social control factors: Integrated meta-analytic path analyses. Journal of Applied Psychology, 94(5), 1163-1184. doi: 10.1037/a0015738

Of course there is a hanging indent, which I cannot reproduce here, and if no doi can be found, you would put "Retrieved from http://www.nameofwebsite.com. Don't forget the authors surnames are always written first, followed by initials with a full stop and comma after each one. With two or more authors, an ampersand rather than the word "and" is used. The year of publication is always in parentheses followed by a full stop. The article title only has the first word, and proper names, and the first word following a colon, starting with a capital letter. The journal name has all main words starting with a capital letter. The journal title and volume number are italicised (but not the article title and issue or part number are not). Page numbers include the first and last page of the article. They should be written in full, e.g. 123-125 not 123-25. There is no pp. before the page numbers.

An article from an online newspaper or magazine would be done in the same way, though they don't usually have doi's.

I'm an engineering student so I might have an older version of APA than you. That's just the way I was taught to do APA. So you're probably more correct.

Can you get certified by the APA if you go to a European University for your doctorate?

The best thing to do is contact the American Psychological Association (APA) for accurate information. Certification indicates that you can do what the certificate says you can do, and that is particular to the field of study and location. Evidently within the APA there are state, and possibly national tests that must be completed successfully for you to practice, and the APA will have guide-lines particular to itself. Therefore they are the best source of information. Click on the related links section (APA) indicated below. It will take you the the (APA) web site.

What is the category in APA for citation of questionnaire?

I've been searching for the same thing and have come to the conclusion that there is no section for this. What you're supposed to do (I believe) is find the source of the questionnaire and cite that. For example the Big Five Personality Inventory was originally included in a journal article. You need to find the original article and cite that, rather than the inventory itself.
