COPYED FROM GWR BOOK 2011 NOT MY OWN WORDS.
There is no recognized world record for the longest period of time a person has intentionally refrained from breathing, as it is extremely dangerous and can lead to serious health consequences, including brain damage or death. It is not recommended to attempt or track such a record.
I Ashokumar from India Mumbai tried to hold the breath after inhale for a 30 mts by closing nose withe the fingers by sitting in aregular pose on earth either in hose or sitting in the car.
I have already registered my self to set a new record with Guinness World Record
Thanks and regards
The world record for the longest time between breaths was 22 minutes. It was set by Stig Severinsen from Denmark in 2012.

The longest a person has gone without breathing voluntarily is about 22 minutes. This was achieved by Stig Severinsen, a Danish freediver. It is not recommended to try to hold your breath for extended periods of time as it can be extremely dangerous and potentially fatal.
The current world record for staying underwater without breathing equipment is 24 minutes and 3.45 seconds, set by Aleix Segura Vendrell in 2016.

Record World was created in 1946.
Record World ended in 1982.
An Olympic record is the greatest achieved in the Olympic games. A world record is the greatest achieved anywhere, ever. In some instances an Olympic record is also the world record.
Breaking a world record at the Olympics means you are breaking the world record, not just the Olympic record. Olympic records are specific to the Olympics event itself, whereas world records are recognized as the best performance in the world for that particular event.
No they are not the same. A World Record can be broken at any time. Whereas an Olympic Record can only be broken at the Olympic Games (it's a glorified Meet Record.) Keep in mind that a World Record CAN be set at the Olympic Games (which would in turn, automatically break the Olympic Record as well.) A World Record outranks an Olympic Record.
the current world record is...NO IDEA!
the world record for stickers is 63000
