When the fattest man in the world dies, another succeeds him, so there is always a "World's Fattest Man."

They have all been succeeded by 60-stone British man Keith Martin who is the current holder of the title.

Martin, 42, is so large he has to have an army of 18 carers to look after him and he recently became the world's fattest man after the previous title holder went on a diet.

Mexican Manuel Uribe, 44, used to hold the title at 90 stone, but he has now shed nearly 60 stone to weigh in at 31 stone 6lb.

Doctors have informed Keith - who eats eight Hot Dogs for breakfast and two roasts plus sausage and chips for lunch - to slim down before they consider any weight-loss surgery.
