According to both the Old and New Testaments does God care about both the Jews and the Christians?

God doesn't call His people "Christians." It's the unconverted people in the world who don't understand the Truth of God who labeled God's "Faithful" with that name.

"…the disciples were CALLED CHRISTIANS FIRST in Antioch." (Acts 11:26 KJV)

Notice, that the disciples didn't "call themselves" Christians. The unconverted Gentiles in the town, who had been witnessing over the period of a year the growth of the church of God that Barnabas and Paul planted there, gave them that name.

The name "Christian" is NOT a term of respect or endearment by Gentiles regarding the servants of God. It's intended to "make fun of them" or of "hatred." It's actually a wonderful Name that the world has coined as a term of RIDICULE. The world regards God's True servants as FOOLS… not to be taken seriously.

Some modern day Bible translations overuse the word "Christian(s) in their texts… but in the King James Version, that's one of the most dedicated English translations in keeping with the oldest manuscripts, you find the word "Christian(s) inspired and recorded ONLY THREE TIMES.

The first is in Acts 11:26 [above].

The second time is in Acts 26:28; where you can almost hear King Agrippa probably, with all the disrespect he could muster through clenched teeth, "spit the word at Paul" when he retorted:

"…'Almost thou persuadeth me to be a Christian.'"

"Christians" are to be persecuted in this world… not celebrated and respected:

"'If the world HATE YOU, ye know that IT HATED ME BEFORE IT HATED YOU.'" [John 15:18 KJV)

That, of course, is why this Satan-led world killed Jesus Christ.

The third time the Holy Spirit inspired this derogatory "Gentile label" of God's servants as "Christian" is when Peter instructs God's servants regarding the world's expected persecution of them:

"…'let none of you SUFFER as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man SUFFER AS A CHRISTIAN, let him NOT BE ASHAMED; but let him GLORIFY GOD ON THIS BEHALF.'" (I Peter 4:15-16 KJV)

Do you see the Holy Spirit-implied usage of the term in The Bible? This world deems a "Christian" to be a lowly, SHAMEFUL thing!

Nowhere in the Bible does God call His servants "Christian." It's this unconverted, unrepentant Satan-guided WORLD that does that. The world likes to label its false satanic religions… and modern professing, apostate, "false Christianity" is no exception. Meaning that the so-called "Christian religion" that our latter day society has come to accept as "Christian" doesn't necessarily mean that "Christ accepts THEM."

Jesus Himself bears this out when He alludes to the Last Great Day of Judgment, when many people who "thought they were Christian and that they belonged to Him" find out that they NEVER WERE and NEVER DID!

"Not every one that saith unto Me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven; but HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in heaven [in other words; it's not just 'believing' in Jesus that matters, but, OBEYING HIM! Believing what He SAYS!]. Many will say to Me IN THAT DAY, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in thy Name? And in thy Name have cast out devils [demons, unclean spirits]? And in thy Name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, 'I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from Me, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.'" (Matt.7:21-23 KJV)

(Read John 8:30 - to the end of the chapter, to see how it's possible for unconverted people to "believe" in Jesus… yet DESPISE EVERY WORD HE SAYS… and actually WANT TO KILL HIM!)

Jesus' FIRST WARNING to His servants [slaves; friends] of what to expect in the Last Days [of God's plan before He comes back to reveal Himself as world-ruling"King"] is to BEWARE OF FALSE religions, like the one called by this world, CHRISTIANITY [that is… organizations {hundreds of denominations of them} professing His name… but who lead people astray from the Truth of God; or Obedience to God's Word. Observing things not commanded in God's Word, like false pagan holidays rather than the ones God's Word records and lists for His people - see Leviticus 23]:

"…'Take heed that no man deceive you. For MANY shall come in My Name [not just 'a few crack-pots'… but MANY], saying, ''I am Christ'' [or I am a Christian]; and SHALL DECEIVE MANY.'" (Matt.24:4-5 KJV)

To get a true grasp of the answer to the question… it's necessary to understand that "God doesn't care about thefalse Christian religions" of this world - with all of its many hundreds of divided denominations… or about any of the false religions of man! He cares about those who show their True FAITH in Him by OBEYING HIM! True Obedience to God's Commandments [by the whole world, not just by"Jews" and/or "Christians"] would result in PEACE - GLOBAL PEACE.

Because then, no one would murder… no one would steal… no one would lie… marriage wouldn't be the twisted, perverted Horror-show that it is today… the LORD's Sabbath would be 'remembered' on the seventh day of the week [which is a remembrance of 'creation' and man's 'Creator,' Jesus Christ, the WORD of God - see John 1:1-3]. No other false gods would be worshiped in the world.

The [NLT] New Living Translation says it this way: "…the Scriptures have declared that we are all prisoners of sin [disobedience to God's Commandments - I John 3:4], so the only way to receive God's Promise is to BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST. Until FAITH IN CHRIST was shown to us as THE WAY OF BECOMING RIGHT WITH GOD, we were guarded by the Law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak, until we could PUT OUR FAITH IN THE COMING SAVIOR.

Let me put it another way. The Law was our guardian and teacher to lead us until Christ came. So now, THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST, we are made Right with God. But now that Faith in Christ has come, we no longer need the Law as our guardian. So YOU ARE ALL CHILDREN OF GOD THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS.

And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have been made like Him. THERE IS NO LONGER JEW or GENTILE [or CHRISTIAN], slave or free, male or female. For you are all CHRISTIANS - you are all One in Christ Jesus. [unfortunate translation adding 'Christians' in this NLT passage; theKJV simply says: '…for ye are ALL ONE in Christ Jesus.'] "And now that YOU BELONG TO CHRIST, you are THE TRUE CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM. You are his heirs, and now ALL THE PROMISES GOD GAVE TO HIM BELONG TO YOU." (Gal.3:22-29 NLT)

This passage reveals that NO RACE or MAN's STATION IN LIFE IS OMITTED from God's care and consideration.

God's Promise to Abraham was for the Salvation of ALL THE FAMILIES [nations] OF THE EARTH[nothing is mentioned about "religion!"] - THAT'S what God cares about. It all comes down to, if A MAN HAS THE REQUIRED FAITH IN and OBEDIENCE TO JESUS! [When it comes right down to it; even a 'Jew,' who is a direct blood descendant of Abraham, also needs God's Salvation; just like any other race of man]

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND the FAITH OF JESUS." (Rev.14:12 KJV)

Faith AND Obedience. Can anyone see it?

"…wilt thou know, O vain man, that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD?" (James 2:20)

"The REAL CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM, then, are ALL THOSE WHO PUT THEIR FAITH IN GOD. What's more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God WOULD ACCEPT THE GENTILES, too, ON THE BASIS OF THEIR FAITH. [ the Faithless Jews' rejection of the Christ opened the door of Salvation for ALL THE NATIONS ON EARTH]. God Promised this Good News [gospel] to Abraham long ago when He said, 'All nations will be blessed through you.' And so it is: All who put their Faith in Christ SHARE THE SAME BLESSING ABRAHAM RECEIVED because OF HIS FAITH." (Gal.3:7-9 NLT)

The Scriptures of God [Old and New Testaments] call for ALL MEN to REPENT of their "sinning" [disobeying God's Commandments - I John 3:4]. They are for ALL OF MANKIND… not for "this religion or that religion."

The Ten Commandments are God's Laws of LOVE and RESPECT - toward Him and toward His Children; each to the other. They aren't "religious" laws as this world teaches. What's religious about treating one another with "kindness, decency, respect, with care and concern?"

God "cares" about all of mankind [all the nations; all of His future Children] ultimately learning to LIVE THIS WAY in the course of this "allotted time" He's given to His creation. The Eternity He's offering to mankind will be so much more Peaceful, Joyful and Happy without the wars and death of this world. That's what the Scriptures say… and they are for ALL OF MANKIND.

Because the books of the Scriptures will be opened to Judge ALL OF MANKIND at the Last Great Day of God's plan - not based on the "religion" they professed in this life: but on THE THINGS THEY DID! [see Rev.20:12] And:

"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still; and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he that is Righteous, let him be Righteous still; and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I COME QUICKLY; and MY REWARD IS WITH ME, to give EVERY MAN [not Jews and Christians] ACCORDING AS HIS WORK HAS BEEN.'" (Rev.22:11-12 KJV)

"He that rejecteth Me, and receive not My Words [the recorded Scriptures of the Bible], hath One THAT JUDGETH HIM: THE WORD THAT I HAVE SPOKEN[and caused to be written in the Scriptures], the same SHALL JUDGE HIM IN THE LAST DAY. For I have not spoken of Myself, but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a Commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that His Commandment is Life Everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto Me, so I speak." (John 12:48-50 KJV)

God shall "measure" every man's WORKS on the Day of Judgment "against His Holy Spirit-inspired Scriptures." And a man's former false "religion" won't matter a bit.
