Monotheism is the most important teaching of Islam since start of mankind. All prophets; including Noah, Abraham, Ismael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, ..., Jesus, and Muhammad; called to worship the one and only one God. The first Islam pillar, of the 5 Islam pillars, commands Muslim to believe in the oneness of God with no partners or resemblance.
Quran says (meaning English translation):
"say (O Muhammad): He is Allah, the one. Allah the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need (He neither eats nor drinks). he begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none co-equal or comparable to him"
