Are there Christians Jews and Catholics who believe their religions are alike?

The question is whether or not there are members of these faiths (by the way, Catholicism is a form of Christianity) who believe that these religions are alike, not whether these religions actually are alike. There are certainly people who believe this, since this is a rather widely held and espoused view.

I am assuming that you are using the term "Christian" to mean Protestant as to a Catholic a Christian is anyone who is validly baptized and believes in the Church that Christ founded - the Catholic Church.

Protestants and Jews are religions of the book, and they are limited in what they believe but only believing what they think The Bible tells them. Catholics believe in the Word of God which is a person, Our Blessed Lord, who came to earth to communicate His life to us through the Church, and the Church communicates this life to its members through its preaching, teaching, sacraments, and the Bible - which it wrote in the first centuries of the Church as part of its preaching.

So basically, although all three religions are based on the one God, the Protestant and Jewish religion limit that God drastically and don't really have that much in common with the Catholic religion. If they did, they would be Catholic.

However, Christianity also has unbridgeable core differences from Judaism.
