Holy Week is the most solemn time during the year when we commemorate the passion and death of Our Lord. It is not a time for a celebration, such as a wedding. Also, the church building is used for a number of Holy Week rites and services and scheduling would be difficult.
People in Holy week pray and go to Church on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Ester Sunday.
They try not to have them on or near Church Holidays, such as Holy Thursday. This is more of a matter of traffic control than anything else- likewise, weddings are normally held if in the Church ( which is right and proper) on Saturdays as this does not conflict with Sunday masses, again a traffic control matter.
During Holy Week, special events and traditions typically observed include Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday. These days commemorate Jesus Christ's entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, his crucifixion, and resurrection. Many Christians attend church services, participate in processions, and engage in prayer and reflection during this sacred week.

A liturgist is usually one of the ministers(priests) or deacons. They read prayers and creeds during the services. They also read liturgies for All Saints Day, Christmas, Easter, Holy Week, and the services of Christmastide and Lent (depending on how traditional the individual methodist church is)
