The abolition of organised religion would be against the right to freedom of religious beliefs, and would be opposed by most people. In any case, such a move would be unsuccessful, as it would only drive religion underground and probably strengthen the convictions of those concerned.

Organized religion was born out of fear of the unknown. The only way it could ever be dissolved is through a monumental undeniable event which conflicted directly with heart of every religious belief leaving no room for multiple interpretation. The chance of this happening is unfortunately completely inconceivable.
