Change is the essence of life?

Perhaps change is the essence of life. Although people can often see it as a negative, sad thing and treat it reluctantly (e.g. leaving school) it generally opens other doors (going to college) where one will be offered new, exciting opportunities and meet all sorts of new interesting people. If life was the same all the time, where would we all be? How would we be feeling? I reckon the answer to that is that we would all feel bored and unsatified... Going back to the first example, you can't stay at school forever; because then life doesn't move on. One needs life to go forward to keep interests constant, develop talents, meet different people and most importantly, develop ourselves as people- in a religious way, often we think about why we are down here and what is the point of life, and to be honest, it is finding out who we are. It really does sound cheesy, but also being the best we can be and being who we want to be. If life didn't change then we would all be boring with no life experience whatsoever, no stories to tell, no real success to share. The true essence of life is to be happy, and this certainly involves change. With change we can really succeed. :)
