There is no evidence of any kind that would suggest that Jesus Christ had any offspring. If the Biblical accounts are to be believed, Christ lived as an itinerant preacher and upheld the sanctity of marriage as part of His religious teachings, and thus, since there is nowhere mentioned Him contracting marriage or meeting with a wife, it would seem out of character for Him to have engendered one by illegitimate means. Throughout the centuries and again in modern times there are those that read meanings into Biblical texts or that insist that Christ succumbed to this basic human impulse, Martin Luther himself assumed Christ had relations with Mary Magdalene. Even if such gratuitous and somewhat dishonest assumptions were granted, the names of His offspring were never recorded.
