Jesus grew up in the town of Nazareth, which was a small village in the region of Galilee. While it was not a major city, Nazareth was situated relatively close to larger urban centers like Sepphoris and Tiberias. The area was not completely isolated, as trade routes and cultural exchanges occurred nearby, but it was certainly more rural compared to larger cities of the time.
