I cannot find any reference regarding this. Most probably he didn't repent as it was not mentioned anywhere in Acts or his Epistles.

Another Answer:

Thinking about Paul acknowledging his sins, two passages come to mind:

1Timothy 1:12-15 "And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."

1Corinthians 15:8-10 "And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."

Besides that, just thinking about it logically, your question doesn't make sense. Paul persecuted the church before his conversion, if it was a false conversion, and Paul never repented and turn from his sin, what would be the point of his ministry, that almost single-handedly spread the gospel throughout Roman Empire, through persecution, poverty, imprisonment and eventually leading to his untimely demise? Was he just faking it because he suddenly developed an unhealthy appetite for pain and death? - You decide.

What does 'confess your faults' mean in the Bible?

It means to face up to the fact that you have specific faults and to acknowledge to God (and yourself) the particular times when you have done something wrong. The word "confess" only means "acknowledge" and does not actually require the idea of "repent", but it is clear from the context that people who confess their faults will also repent of them. Therefore the implication is that people who "confess" a fault will commit not to make that mistake again.
