There aren't particular atheist holidays; technically "holidays" is a contraction of "holy days" so it wouldn't really make sense. However, there are secular holidays in most countries - in the UK we have Bank Holidays which can be secular (such as May Day or August Bank Holiday) or religious (Easter Monday and Christmas Day are bank holidays).
Answer:
Atheists happily celebrate every holiday, but not as Holy Days. Any event which sees friends or family together for companionship, happiness, food and drink is open to us. This is a decided advantage over folks moored to a single religious or cultural tradition. We join Jewish friends at a multitude of happy and sad events, Islamic friends at the Eid, Hindus at Diwali, Christians at Christmas, Scots on Burns Night, Wiccans at the solstice, the Zurich Bean Festival in Ontario, Octoberfest. Then again there's Darwin Day, Pi Day and other events that mainstream folk don't usually touch.
They don't have any. That's the definition of "atheists" - "no god."
No. Atheists do not seek any biblical role. They have no interest in religious writings nor having any role in them.
Out of respect and conformity. Most Atheists don't try to convert people into atheists - they just want to be respected and for the world to know that they exist and shouldn't be disrespected. To show respect for others' holiday, we say Merry Christmas and truly wish people who do celebrate it have a joyous day of Dec. 25th.
Yes, Shintoism has holidays.
Yes there are many fiscally conservative atheists. And many christains are liberals. I am an example of the latter.
No. Most atheists do not believe in Satan any more than they believe in God, and they consider satanist rituals to be as pointless as any other religious rituals.
caddos holidays
They do have Ceremonies and holidays.
People who do not believe in any god are called Atheists.
Atheists can believe whatever they want about any subject (except the existence of gods). Atheism does not have any sort of dogma and therefore atheists do not have to agree on any other issue. But most atheists who would also identify as a skeptic (The new atheism Richard Dawkins camp) would not believe in ghosts.
Atheists do not worship. they do not believe in any established religion.
