. Catholic AnswerDo they believe they exist? Certainly. Do they believe that you can make use of them without sin? Certainly not. Catholics believe that every sexual act must meet several conditions:
1) It must be between one man and one woman who are united in the sacrament of matrimony.
2) It must be an act of love with consideration of the other person.
3) It must be open to the creation of new life.
Sex was created by God for two specific purposes: the creation of new life, and the growth of the love between a married couple. Any sexual act outside of those two purposes is a sin, including the use of a condom. This has been taught infallibly by the Church for Its entire existence and was reaffirmed by Pope Paul VI in his Encyclical Letter: HUMANAE VITAE which you can view by clicking on the link.
If they are practicing Catholics they could not use condoms.
