The three religions; Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; are revealed by same God

for different groups. Accordingly, sure they should have some similarities in

some aspects of worship and morals.

Christianity was founded by Jews. Namely Jesus and the Twelve Apostles were

all Jewish and as a result, Christianity still has a partial Jewish legacy. Much of

the theology between Christianity and Judaism are different now, but the

Biblical Scriptures still survive as evidence of this historical connection. The

Lord's Prayer, as it is a direct quote from Jesus in The Bible, could just as easily

be used in a synagogue as a church because it does not allude to any of

Christian theology that Judaism does not accept.

Islam is actually very similar to Judaism and shows this similarity quite readily

when you examine Jewish laws from the contemporary period. Parts of the

Qur'an directly quote the Talmud (for example, "if you kill one man, it is if you

have killed all of humanity and if you save one man, it is if you have saved all of

humanity"). The prohibition on eating pork, the requirements to fast periodically,

the necessity of daily prayer, orthopraxis, required charitable donations, and

other fundamental pillars of religion are shared between the two.

Yes they do. Judaism was started when Abraham left his family and homeland to

a place that God would lead him. Christianity started because orthodox Jews

did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah so those who did believe were not

considered to be Jewish anymore. Islam was created by Mohammad and he

used parts of Christianity and Judaism as well as his own ideas to create Islam.
