Yes because when you convert to Islam it means that you are committed to follow the rules. the whole reason for the headscarf is that 1. its not all about beauty, its about personality, if a man loves a women for her beauty it would be called animalistic Love, Islam is against animalistic love. 2. Hijaab is for respect, if you go out wearing a short skirt and a tight top and a man goes past you and checks you out in a sexual way then that's not respect is it?, Hijaab is a responsibility, when you reach puberty you are responsible to hide your beauty.
By the way most women in the west get raped for showing there beauty alot.

No there is in fact no rule in the actual religion that expects Muslim women to wear a head scarf. There are many Muslim women that do not wear a head scarf. For example Turkey is a largely Muslim country and the headscarf is not permitted in many places there.In places where every woman does, many do so because of intimidation
