Yes, Islam has a concept very similar to atonement, called "Tawba."

Muslims believe that God has commanded them to follow a divinely-prescribed way of life. God has commanded Muslims to do certain things, and forbidden them from doing certain things. If a Muslim acts in a way contrary to God's commands, he or she can ask forgiveness from God, and their sins will be erased from the record. This process is called "Tawba". It is a direct appeal to God requesting Him to forgive us of our sins.

The Quran says: "Ask pardon of your Lord and then turn unto Him (repentant). Lo! my Lord is Merciful, Loving." (11:90)
