God is omnipotent, so knows all; by transivitivity, Jesus knows everything that God does, or simply everything. It is not for us to know the hour or day that Christ will return. For those that are ready they won't be taken by surprise. While Jesus was on earth the disciples asked Him when He would return and He said He didn't know, only the Father in heaven knows.
